When a mother tells her child, “eat your vegetables and drink your milk everyday” she is not only telling him to consume something that is pro-life, but she is also implicitly giving him a warning. That if he doesn’t eat his veggies or drink his milk, his body will not be healthy and he could have health complications. Well its sort of the same principle with with God. When Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:15 that if we fail to forgive others our heavenly Father will not forgives us. We know that the bible also says in Proverbs 17:22 “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones” also in Proverbs 15:30 “A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones”. Here we see that on the one hand, a crushed spirit or someone may have been hurt by someone and fails to forgive them ends up with dried up bones, while on the other hand those whose heart is joyful, they have healthy bones.
So ask someone who may have Hodgkins Disease, Leukemia, or Breast Cancer if they have bitterness towards their father, or someone whose hurt them. If they (you do) do forgive that person, repent of it and lets get you free from that horrible disease!!
